With the Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 Kit you will find a hybrid camera with which both photo and video recordings in professional quality are possible. It offers exceptional image quality, an ergonomic housing with dust and splash water protection and is flexible. The heart of the Lumix DC-S5 is the 24.2 megapixel full-frame sensor with a large dynamic range and very low-noise image quality, even at high ISO values. For this purpose, the Dual-Native-ISO technology is used, which optimizes the image quality in both photo and video mode and keeps the usual image noise in poor lighting conditions as low as possible. The sensor's automatic light sensitivity ranges from ISO 100 to ISO 51,200 and thus ensures a wide range of applications in a wide variety of lighting conditions. No matter, whether you prefer to work with the high-resolution 3-inch touch display or use the large OLED viewfinder with 2.36 million pixels, you can rely on recordings of the highest quality. The interpupillary distance of approx. 20 mm also allows people who wear glasses to have a better view of the viewfinder. The time-lapse and stop-motion functions offer that extra bit of creativity, while photos can now be saved directly as JPEGs with the improved high-resolution mode. The Lumix DC-S5 is also a very powerful video camera. Internally, it can record up to 4K 60p 4:2:0 (10-bit) and 4K 30p 4:2:2 (10-bit). Up to 4K 60p 4:2:2 (10-bit) is even possible via the HDMI output. Due to the particularly effective heat dissipation design of the Lumix DC-S5, the recording time is unlimited up to 4K 30p 4:2:0 (8-bit), depending on the available storage space. Image stabilization is a requirement for any creative on-the-go. This is how sharp and blur-free shots can be taken even without a tripod. The 5-axis Dual IS system combines sensor and lens stabilization so that you can benefit from up to 6.5 f-stops with the Lumix DC-S5.
